T34 is a bit big for 300bhp, you would be better with a T3

GT28 roller bearing will drive a little nicer but is ultimatly less reliable.

i thought t3's were on their limits at around 300bhp? what would make the gt28 less reliable? am i right in thinking the gt28 will spin up sooner giving a smoother punch? i was thinking a t34 would kick in hard giving grief with wheel spin and torque steer etc?

Its less reliable in that any surge or oil contamination will kill it a lot quicker, properly installed they can last just fine though.

T3 would be very near its limit on 300bhp, but why is that an issue?
Whats the point on putting a laggy 400bhp turbo on a 300bhp car?

i do alot of conversion to customers cars i have turbo charged lots and lots and i have seen many times peopl over spec ther turbos why use a 400bhp turbo if you are only going to push 300 out of it things seem to work ther best when ther near ther limit so if you are going for 350/400 bhp go for a gt28r or gt28 or a gt2560r all these turbos work just fine but i still think a gt2560r will be perfect i fitted one on a uno turbo and its in the 300bhp mark if you want a price on a any turbo let me no ther not that much money
