just play with it until you can launch the car off the line on wide open throttle, with little wheelspin and no bogging

On a fairly low power low grip RST i cant see how its gonna help much.

Its great for big turbos as it will get the turbo on boost before your going anywhere, but traction is always gonna be an issue as you on wide open throttle, and as you not got a huge laggy turbo it not helping you there either.

On normal road tyres i reckon youd be better off launching in 2nd if your using launch control, as im sure you can have it set to some revs where it wont bog down.

ive got it but havent successfully made it work,
204bhp fiesta rst and running 14.4 without it. will get it to work but in the spring i think
should bring the times down, i launch harder than 4k though im sure. should definately help get the power down though.

Its not really lauch control though is it. Just a temporary lower rev limit. You need to monitor wheel speed and adjust ignition/fuel for proper launch control.

The Omex thing is a gimmick really.
