what dump valve will fit a S40 t4 ? where and how ??
mates got a S40 t4 . its a turbod 1.9 engine . he has tried looking for a dump valve for it . but he can only find one . he has also been told he will need a blanking plate cos the volvo has a blow off valve fitted aswell ??
anyone got any info ????

he wants one but thought they would be normalish price ? round the ton mark ??
will a DV26 work on it ?? DV26 is what cossies have . i know a escort one wont idle properly (DV24)

DV 26 is the dual diaphragm (RST) one suitable for cars with air flow meters before the turbo
dump valves are simple, just need one side to positive boost pressure, and one side to the inlet (vacuum) to open it when throttle is closed
i cant comment on the volvo engine though

he did join one . but he couldnt work out how to use/post on it . i will ask him later which one it was and then have a look and a play myself !

Might find it's the same as with my A4. I can't take the recirc valve off it as it upsets things and fitting a Ptsh! valve (not that I would) also upsets things.
Shame as I though a chattering A4 would be a laugh
