just changed to fire fox from ie but cant seem to connect im running xp is there anything you have to do iv done the standard set-up thing ?

as above shouldnt be any reason why you cant just install and use straight away without any problems.

Id check you have gave FF permission on your firewall

another thing to check out, when firefox is open click on "file" at the top left and near the bottom it should say "work offline", if it says "work online" then click on it, if it says "work offline" thats fine

Uninstall fire fox and use opera

http://www.opera.com/

faster, easier and consumes ALOT less of your pc's memory and power then fire fox.

RS ant, dont fill his head with shit

Theres nothing wrong with Firefox, ive been using it for over a year, its just each to there own really, there both good browsers but i like the look of FF better

yep i swithched it off then clicked the link said i was working offline so switched it back again so aint that

Opera mate

GTi_iTG I used fire fox for 2yrs and after using opera i would NEVER go back to fire fox.

And you can download skins for opera so if you dont like the way it looks then change it

It should say "working offline" like mine does, then if YOU want it to go offline you then click on it, if you get me, but yeah if you have clicked both and it still dont work then i dont know

Just downloaded a colour tab extension, makes all the tabs a pretty colour (you can change colours to what you want or random changing everytime you click a tab)
Running default theme though.
