see and you would have gone hungry on tues night had Squiz, Mart and myself not stopped
cant believe the rod had snapped though, i just assumed it'd come away fromt he box and needed re-aligning!!

Not read all th4e toppic Jim, dunno if you've got it sorted yet, but whne I changed he engine & box in my car the other week, this exact thing happened (grinding/catching noise when turning left.
I was sure it was the prop, turned out it was the exhaust being too low and vibrating at high-er revs or turning left budged it a bit to vibrate on the chassis
