Take it to a body shop and have it moped, will come up a treat
But, I had an xr3i that was red faded to pink, in places white
T-cutted it for hours and bought it up perfect, but by foook you really really had to rub at each panel, whole bottle of t-cut for the car

Decent paint renovators and polishing is your answer
T-cut is ok-ish but shite compared to others
Try auto glym renovator then buff it up with auto glym super ressin
I bought my red mondi st24 a few years ago and paint work was shit but rest of car was super mint and really low milage etc so i bought the car with the know i had a few hours of grafting ahead of me ,ill post a few piccies if i can find some

Sadly i cant find the before piccies but heres a piccy the day after i bought it ........... it had had a wash and a cut with a quick coat of polish till the following days cleaning started and wheels changed etc
Has a bit of a shine but still very shite ,lol,
This is what i turned it into for a show i did only a few weeks after i bought her , nice shine and decent alloys (this was when nobody had d-cuts alloys and i was pestered questions at shows all day,lol)....

I washed it then dried it, then took a buffer and G3 to it, after that it was polished with a good wax, took 5 hours and will probably need done again, tho i think for a van thats 18 years old the paintwork came up fairly well.
Was quite hard work but worth it. My £102 ebay summer project, i will do a resto thread once its done as well
