Well the headgasket came at about 3:30pm this afternoon so off down I went to my barn & got cracking on it. Changed all the liners seals, fitted headgasket etc etc - its all running again & has been run up - I'll re-torque the head tomorrow at some point & probably get some miles on it this weekend.
I'm planning on getting a good few hundred miles on it over the coming couple of weeks then going back out to see Mr Mapping Man so he can do his stuff for me.
Not going over this weekend, really cant be arsed now especially as I dont currently trust the old shitter as far as I can throw it! LOL!

Well....some positive news for a change.......took a trip down to my mates house in Coventry today to get some more miles on the old shitter this afternoon - I can say that she performed faultlessly for the whole trip - she likes to guzzle a bit though - roughly 300miles to Ł63 worth of juice & that was taking it relatively easy too!!! LOL! Not a drop of water used either - although I aint checked the oil yet.
She gets to the magic 4000rpm mark & everything happens at once - the turbo gets full boost & then it seems to come on cam then it just pulls right through nicely.
Cant wait to have it properly mapped, only been using part throttle & only running roughly a bar of boost.
Roll on the next few hundred miles - going to do an oil change on her this next week.
Big thanks to Matt Lewis also - met him on the way home for some oil & a new torque wrench!!!
