Arrrgh! What to do! (holiday or not)
I gotta work 2morrow, then am off till Oct 1st - so wondering what to do with my next (nearly) 2 weeks!
I am soooooooooooooo tempted to grab a flight to New York it's unreal!!!
But am still in 2 minds!
All I have to do now is ring this place up and ask em if they have a room available for a few nights (Sat, Sun, Mon, and Tues, and if they do grab a flight out Friday, stay a few days and get a flight back Wed night....
And it's not even the money thing putting me off - probably cost me about £1000 for the whole week inc flights, accomodation, and buying shit out there.... Which whilst I can't *really* afford it, I can if you know what I mean.....
Just dunno what to do!!!!!
Should I stay or should I go?

Sit down with your porn and a pot noodle, and taunt yourself silly for 2 weeks...
£1000 in the pocket (minus 99p for pot noodle) which you can save for when mortgage rates go up as per your post on other thread

dvid - I don't like pot noodle tho
Thing is I really just fancy getting away from here, home, this country, the people I see everyday, etc etc.... And New York is like a magical place to me, my fave place on the planet..... And I get to see Fastmaul and his wife again, and his daughter for the first time......
Fuck it, gonna go I think
Emailed the motel to ask about availablitiy, if no reply by 10pm (5pm NYC time) I'll ring em and if they have availability, I'm booking it up

In all seriousness... I think you should go
Only live once and if you aren't fucking yourself over, go for it... Sounds like you have poeple to see etc so oppurtunities won't come up that often
Glad I helped you with your decision

Thats a lot of money for a few days in NYC! I'm going to Whistler BC for 2 weeks in peak season for not much more (including a £300+ lift pass and all transfers in mega nice accommodation!)

Flights worked out ot £253 return, motel should cost about £180-£200, so I reckon it'll be within £500 plus whatever money I spend on shit out there.....
Is a lot of money, but I just soooooooooooo wanna go back to NYC, as I love it there!
