What wireless router?
One for all you IT bods, I'm looking for a wireless router to get my home set up, but dunno what one to get! there are sooo many
Basically its main use will be to hook my PS3 up to the internet to play games and such, hopefully a router where I can also just plug my PC downstairs so I dont have to mess around making that wireless.
So what what would you lot recommend what, how much did it cost, and where can I get one from?

i just bought a netgear Super G from PC World for £90. i went in ready top buy a rangemax after net research and the guy recommended this one instead as its more reliable than the rangemax which isnt as good as it suggests it is.
Now i havent bothered hooking it up yet so cant tell you what thats like

I got a Belkin Modem Router yesterday, wasn't cheap but it was easy to set up for me and I am no IT expert. This One
*edited to add* I have a desktop pc wired into it and use the wireless with a laptop and a Nintendo DS [] with no problems Plus I can fileshare and use it as a printer router too [I think but that's too technical for me to set up yet ]

I bought a linksys one for £15 from tier-1 online on ebay with 12 months guarantee!
Rock solid and never had a problem with it.
I use virgin media too...but I also had it configured with aol.
Cant see why i'd need to spend more

Who is your service provider?
I have a belkin one, and it seems to work. Possibly a bit fussy with being somewhere warm though.
It's in here now and not too bad:
Along with my cable modem, a 16port Netgear Gigabit switch, 1TB of storage in Raid 1, and a UPS with a power feed back into the house for the cordless phones.
Anyone think that's overkill for a house?
