They arent designed for mass market use particuarly I dont think, as the production must take SO long on each one, so selling lots of them cheap just isnt an option.
Definately strictly a "premium" product.

On a 10K engine build though, a few hundred extra for a manifold isnt a big deal, and they are still positively cheap compared to the 2-3K that MAD etc customers pay for their inconel ones made by primary designs and other people like that.

Do look very good quality. So would there be much difference in power/torque or delivery in the 2 designs?

Peter claims there are, but im skeptical myself, I guess it depends on just how closely you look at it, a couple of lbft on a road motor is no difference as far as im concerned but on a race motor, even 2 lbft extra is worth having!

See what you mean but saw on MIG quite recently that they were doing a group buy of tubular manifolds with 2 different designs as well, 'drag' and 'normal' and wondered at the time if there would THAT much difference between the 2 but there must be something worthwhile i would have thought?

The ones on MIG are a totally different design made by someone else (beardy) and probably not quite to this quality TBH mate.

I have just checked the prices with todays exchange rate for those who were asking about them.

850 + Delivery for internally gated
930 + Delivery for externally gated

I know they are not the same quality and a different design I was just wondering whether the shape made much of a difference to anything at all generally?

Yes it does, but not a huge amount realistically.
