Where abouts is Skegness?
My mates going there on hols and i thought it was in scotland somewhere until i looked at the map and its east of Nottingham 
There isnt 2 Skegness's is there

Hmmm i cant say anything because she had it planned with her mate weeks ago, plus i think another reason is her mates parents have a holiday house thing over there so there staying for free, but sounds like shes going to be bored senseless then

There's plenty of amusements and pubs and stuff, and the beach is nice, depends what you want I suppose. If the weather's nice it's a nice walk along the beach and there's the Seal Sanctuary and stuff, but it's not somewhere I could spend a week.

its popular because it was one of the easiest resorts to get to back in the day before cheap holidays abroad were available, LOADS of miners from notts/yorks/derbys/leics used to go every year and back then its was quite decent, it was the east coast equivalent of blackpool I suppose.
recently its turned into a dump though because they've got to try and compete with foreign holidays, complete concrete shit hole now

Aye there was a big fire, i went to skeggy this year for a couple of days at Butlins and i must admit i loved it, we did an afternoon on the sea front and the seal sanctuary is pretty good.
Good place to visit if you have kids imo.

She will be going for the same reason all birds go on holiday anywhere, so they can act like they really wanna and get pissed up and fuck loads of people, and it wont matter as its not in their home town so nobody ever finds out.
Dont matter that the place isnt all that, its not about that.
