Default no pressure from metering head

i aint too good with the injection side of things but my mate has an ERST which ahd a leaky fuel pump pipe.
he took this off and fixed it. doesnt leak anymore.
NOW when he comes to start it there is no pressure coming from the metering head. i said just bleed it off using the cold start injector its prob got a load of air init.
hes tried this and he get fuel to the 5th injector BUT none to the other 4
Ie when you crack one of the banjo things off on the metering head there is NO pressure there (not a drop )
However there is massive (ie 3 bar) pressure on the fuel filter side..
Anyone got any bright ideas?

had same probem. I now have a degree in KE lol.

What u need to do, is unscrw the pipes, and then the three torx that hold the metering head to the main assembly. U will also have to take off the fuel inlet, returns, and cold start. Once undone, lift it off - it can be stiff as there is an o ring underneath to stop crap getting in - dont damage it. Once off, u will see the 3mm or so long plunger. It is prob stuck. Spray some WD on it, work it in an d out - and it should be able to move under gravity. Then screw all back together.

Also, get someone to depress the metering flap when the engine is cranked to make sure the slits are exposed.

cabrio, check the techy archive section for the K-JET manual... (same principle) gives you diagrams and stuff and explains why ricks method will work etc.

well worth a read!
