Default IT FITS!!! engine monitor install pics...

I was gonna mount it over the ashtray area but it was too low down and I had to take my eyes off the road for too long to see it so I set upon the dash with a hacksaw and a file...

before:

after:

I gave up with the file and hacksaw and bought a cheap dremel type thing to finish it off in the end. Probably would have taken about an hour all in if I'd used a dremel from the start

It looks better in the flesh and fits absolutely solidly all the level warning lights on the dash and the car pic thing still work too

It's not a Pectel monitor, it's a Collins monitor that does similar things

oops

my mistake... weber engine monitor jobby, the new ones that Stu sells.

they are a bit of a gay size as they dont really fit anywhere, so I figured I'd try squeeze it behind the dash

yeah, thats the only thing thats gonna piss me off - no clock

But its better than no car pic thing that lights up and no warning lights which was looking like the only option! (either that or a written off car because I took my eyes off the road for too long to see what the act was at 130mph!!)
