Off to Africa soon
since my wife left me i have been toying with the idea of going to visit my parents in Namibia, my dad has booked and payed for the flights so i fly on 26th for 2 weeks for some downtime and time to clear my head
im really looking forward to it allthough i will miss my daughter im excited

will be excellent mate although it's winter down there now
make sure you get plenty of pics for us
when i was in SA we were based in springbok, just below the orange river border with namibia. we went as far as the border crossing one day, but had some chinese with us that did not have a visa to get in
i've still got loads of windhoek beer left over from my braai party
btw, how are you getting on in norfolk now?

i quite like it in norfolk now as its away from my ex wife and her new partner allthugh also away from my daughter and its a long way to drive to collect her and return her over weekends 800 miles and 20 hour drive each weekend
i remember reading your post on africa and ill try and get some decent pictures
my parents live in windhoek and it does look nice, they did mention thats its winter there but said its only like the weather in britain at the moment as its not rainy season til october
