Worth taking a few months pay slips and a good idea of what your outgoings are each month

I think that's about it, they asked me questions about outgoings, money borrowed on cards / loans etc and whether I expected my wages to go up / down etc

When I went see see mine last year I took six months worth of payslips (from my fulltime and part time job). Also did on Excel a plan of how much I spend per month on things like petrol, tax, mot, insurance, phone bill, haircut/colours, nails, clothes, food, dentist etc etc. And a rough estimate of what I would expect to pay *roughly* on water, gas/electricity, home+contents insurance, mortgage protection insurance, council tax etc. I've got my mortgage on my own, but if your planning on getting it with your partner/friends etc they'll obviously need details of their payslips and outgoings etc.

I aint got wageslips for months and months as they are in my locker at work, I only have the last 2 for myself and the last 2 weeks for Adam - they should do

I've done a little spreadsheet with my personal outgoings aswell so thats not too bad, I have quite a bit of disposable income, altho that will change if I get a morgage

Oh yeah forgot to mention they asked me these sorts of questions also.

And try *if possible* to get a fixed term rate for as long as you can. And without early repayment charges- because then if you're flush for cash one month you can pay an extra few ŁŁ towards it without being charged

Been looking at special rates for first time buyers that offer 3 years fixed rate with no fees and wotnot, Barclays are offering this, but my financial adviser is at my building society - Leeds and Holbeck, so off to see her first

I guess it didn't help with my dad keeping on telling my financial advisor to send me mortgage deal offers and the like - the cunt

Ahhh yes but it's worth it And your mortgage advisor will give you the best advice possible to find the right package that's best for you, so you won't be completely without any disposable income.

Also, if you do need more payslip you can probably speak to your manager/payroll and they can "back order" them. I did this for both my jobs- at a hospital (fulltime) and a pub (part time) as I was really bad at keeping hold of things. Took the copies about a week to come through. Another thought is if you've still got your P60 from April this has your whole annual wage listed on it doesn't it, so if you could find that
