Yeah bring it on

There was one guy on the TV moaning as hes borrowed Ł1.5m to buy houses and let, now hes worried he wont be able to afford it. Presenters think it could lead to people/devlopers having to sell propertys as wont be as profitable in the buy to let etc. Which is fantastic news for people like me

Bring it on, i need house prices to come down or even stop freaking growing lol. But trouble is Interest rate rises dont hit people for a while after they have been brought in..... On we have had 4? rate rises over last few months. So hasnt 100% kicked into the housing market yet. So Will have wider impact on that and rest of economoy later.

1/4% rise equates to another Ł16 per month on a repayment of Ł100k

so Ł16 x 23 = Ł386 so that don't make sense in the first place

i'm fixed for another 6 months and then i'll be a rate tart

I have no mortgauge ( paid it off in jan ) But still bad news as people stop spending on things like cossie etc , so it does effect everyone in one way or another

thats a very good point, but my evening business is aimed towards boy racers and they can't afford a house and spend there money on shit so it don't matter.
