2 BUY OR NOT 2 BUY???? BOUGHT IT !! (with pics)
Recently been offered a 1985 mk3 red xr3i totally standard 80,000 from new with full history 1 owner????
£150???
Needs 2 front wings and a battery tray everything else shiny red paint, even the boot floor and tailgate
Thinkin about series 1 styling and a 2litre zvh what sort of return could i expect???
And mainly should i buy????

Most certainly worth buying mate, even if its just to scrap it as they seem to break for good money these days.
Last pair of front speaker pods i was bidding on on Ebay sold for £92
And that was just for the metal brackets that screw into the bottom section of the door post !!! The plastic outer trim covers for the speakers sell for around $50 or £60 on top off that !!!!
Good parcel shelfs seem to fetch around £80 - £100 as well and a complete lock set working from the one key will get you back another £50.
Plus then you have engine and gearbox etc etc to take back some more money from so its definately worth buying mate even if you dont think its good enough to put back on the road.
I know if i were closer to you i would buy it in a heartbeat without even seeing it

Nice colour that, reminds me of my 2nd car which was a mark 3 in that colour with mark 4 xr3i steel wheels with the white hubcaps similar to that, I loved that car
