This is probably going to sound a bit mad but it has occurred to me so am going to ask anyway 
Why don't they make cars out of some kind of rubber compound instead of metal, there are advantages like no corrosion and also less damage in crashes, would it be too heavy or expensive? also if they did would they be able to shield the rubber from the heat generated by the engine and exhaust? I'm not planning on building a rubber car may I quickly add lol.

cos they'd flex as soon as you tried to turn the steering wheel, and it would be too expensive
alot of car manufacturers use plastic over a metal chassis, lotus elise, smart car etc
these dont rust (yet)

What if you crashed into something though....you'd fly off down the road like one of them little bouncy balls you used to get when you were a kid

Got one, why do all the different countries speak different languages? and who decided which words describe certain articles, ie who came up with motor?

Okey dokey, you will think I am mad though, what would you do if someone stole your car and took a crap on the dash?? I would have to sell mine with the crap in situ coz I couldn't stand to clean it off, seriously, woke up thinking about this.

You've got issues hun lol awwwww... do see your point, can imagine it being expensive and just not practical for some reason or another. These clever people will come up with another material somewhere along the line though.

sounds like you need to do some exercise before sleeping to wear you out so you get a proper nights sleep. are you a fan of horizontal jogging?
