Default CVH cold start as 5th injector?

I remember reading somewhere that someone does a kit that changes your cost start injector into a 5th Injector. Think it might have been MSD

Can someone shed any light on this before I start upping my boost to silly levels

The original cold start injector is not suitable to be used as an additional injector you would need to use a proper fuel injector.

Can you explain why it is not suitable?

I thought it was a proper injector?

Says it all there, the cold start injector can be used for additional fueling.

because it isn't
it was designed to wet the inlet track pre start and therefore has a very small flow rate and is designed for occasional momentary operation 8 secs maximum once in a blue moon ie sub -15 deg c max 8 secs
so use a proper fuel injector
