When you get to that kinda level you can't look at it like that though.... its about strength and consistency as well as outright performance. Its WRC spec stuff. Sean will explain it all I'm sure...
P.S It might actually be a bit more than 10k!

its all parts of th bigger picture im afraid !!
whats the point in spending 10k on an engine , and having pony transmission , pony suspension , pont tyres , pony brakes , you just dont do it ,
if i was to build a track car from a cossy the last thing i would be modifying to any extent would be the engine , theres a lot more gains to be had by a) actually being able to go round corners at a decent speed - and accelerating out of the same bend , and b) not being able to stop after the straight !!!
for example , when we were at croft the other week , there were loads more cars faster than mine in a straight line but only a few ( incl the 4wd ) that were as fast round the corners and on the brakes !!

Hi peeps
personally i am a great fan of Bilstein coilovers and always have been
i think for the money they are the best to an extent unless you can afford, ohlins, proxflex, ect (proper rally stuff)
I have tryed 3 different types now of Bilstien tarmac set ups on the front and i have found my personal settings which i like at long last which is less than 480/180 less than 450lb springs
on the back i did try the tarmac billys aswell but these were to hard for rd use it use to make the back end skip like fook ...and these were 350/130 i think
I am using Bilstein gravel rears now which i find perfect and these are less than 270/120 i am using 16" rear springs not telling you the poundage
i do agree with Mark power is not everything it every thing else like brakes supension, transmission, and of corse tyres
mine is a Rd car and it will never be as good as a track car but i have got a happy meduim which i am happy with it's has took me a long time to get the supesion and geometry set up but i am well happy with it now ,
one other for you cossie's guys if you can afford a rose jointed trailing amrs buy them because they make so much diffreance you wouldn't belive it
thats enough from me

I ran Leda's on my Focus for 3 years but swapped them out for the PSS9's Bilsteins when I cracked the strut case after hitting a pot hole. Both were fantastic but the Bilsteins were slightly better on the street. I've had Leda's on the XR race car for 3 years but want to swap them out for remote reservoirs this winter.
Like anything you get what you pay for and like tires and brakes I won't skimp on my suspension.

I must add that I didn't pay £10k for my suspension. I got the full set, including having Ohlins fully service and rebuild them for about £3,500. I did ask how much they would be new and the fronts are £3,500 each and the rears are £2,800 each all plus VAT of course.
A quick pic if anyones interested:

And the fronts on the car:
