Default Old style log-books

ive just got hold of a mk1 fiesta thats been off the road for a few years and it has the old style log-book. can i just fill it in and send it off? will it just come back with the new (current) style one?

I just did it for a VW and now they want to inspect the car due to 'discrepencies on thier database'

discrepencies? they got the chassis number, engine number, CC, date of 1st use and colour wrong....

bloody DVLA.

yep, my 205 had the old style one

infact, it had already been filled out, so i had to tip-ex it out and fill my details in,,, came back fine
