Default UNPAID AT WORK.

Basicly i started this new job 3 months ago, and now they claim this month that they cant afford to pay us.....

So what can i do, i have a kid etc so cant be without money.

I took some cheques from the cash box that are made out to the company but i know i can cash them.

They have no way to know they are missing etc. and would not find out, as nothing is documented, and the customer already has their good.
So would i get in trouble if i cashed it??? if so what would happen?

You could get done for fraud and earn yourself a criminal record.

I'm sure their must be a better way than stealing. That's a sure way of never getting paid again..

I'd speak to a lawyer before you do anything

erm - highly illegal!!

wait for the company to pay you - if they dont then pursue it elsewhere. go to citizens for advice. but dont start pinching their cheques!!

Um put the cheque back....
If they dont pay you or pay you late its not good for them, any bank charges etc you recieve because of this late payment has to be payed by them. Do a search on Google there is loads of imformation about it.

Start looking for another job asap, once a company cant afford to pay the workers is a downward spiral from there imo

By definition if you company cant pay their employees then its pretty much trading insolvent.
