Msd closed loop chips co question

Testing the future
why would you try and set something that is trying to be controlled in a closed loop?
i think that you need to set what is commonly called the "CO pot" to it's central position as that sets a multiplier for the entire fuel map, and then the closed loop control takes care of the idle mixture to give the correct emmissions (CO etc)

PassionFord Post Whore!!
as long as the emissions tester is reading 0.7% CO at idle and the engine is sufficiently warm that seems fine
can i assume its the MSD closed loop?
mine runs at approx 0.6%CO at idle
