advice needed on car setting up
im wanting to know the best place to get running in map on my car, im using a omex system on a zetec se engine with bike throttle bodies, i have a map that i have been told will work but its overfueling wont idel at all unless you give it 50% throttle, so it needs sorting properly by someone in the know!so any suggestions would be great! thanks

Plug in a laptop and drive it up the road 
you can at least tune the fueling so that it drives OK while you run it in.
I had the reverse problem running a 2.3 I4 engine on GSXR 750 throttle bodies using a 2 litre Zetec map, it ran lean everywhere so I just drove up the road with a friend on the laptop adding fuel 'till it ran right. After it was run it I took it to Dave Walker at Emerald and he mapped it for me

only problem being the car runs out of mot and tax end of this month and it will need setting up before the mot and i need a mot to tax it so it carnt be driven on the road which is how its mapped at msd i thought?

ill ring him tomorrow, im not 100% sure how to adjust the fueling and dont want to do the wrong thing if you know what i mean i think its best left to the experts!

Must be a very good guess on the poart of OMEX, for a base map, or did they not install it, and if not why did they not install a base map ?
ALL EMERALD ecu come with a base map, as he being professional will not send one out without one, nased on previous cars running similar set ups.
Emerald is the daddy IMO, but STU (MSD) certainly knows his stuff and is ace also totally recommended, much depends on where you live as some may be closer than others, Emerald will not map a OMEX though.

it came with a base map on it but it wont run with that, ive been to aet turbos today and i think im going to take it there as it 5 minutes from my house
