FAO Liverpool people
In about 5 hours I am boarding a boat to Dublin. Having never sailed from Liverpool before I am a bit unsure which part of the dock to go to. I'm sailing with P&O.
Just thought one of you lot might know.
Any help would be appreciated.

Bootle Docks mate, P+O Irish Ferry Terminal.
If your on the A5058 coming from the M-way or whatever past Anfield etc jus keep doing till the A565 junction, then go straight over into the docks, 1st right, and your there.
Pub on the cornmer has dirty strippers some days if your bored.

And don't ask for directions as we are all thick as fucking shit. Last time I asked where Church road was for the dog kennels I was told 'are kids nan owns a dog lad I'll ring her up and ask she should know.. Then I had to sit and wait while he tried to get through to his nan. And when he did get through to her she wanted to know which way I was facing to which he replied 'Towards me dads'. Then my directions started off with 'It's not far from me dads mate'. Most friendly and helpful people you will ever meet but fuck me where all thick as shit.

Where you coming from, youve got 2 options from the M62
Either
M62 to the end, at the lights turn right along Queens Drive A5058 and basically dont turn off.
Or
M62 onto M57, Follow the M57 to the end, then turn left at the top following the signs for Crosby (Dunning's Bridge Road), the ferry terminal's are signposted along there.

Which is where DazC google map link shows.
IIRC some maps actually label that bit as the P+O Irish ferry terminal too as remember looking when I 1st went.

Just been to the one on the google map. It's now celtic ferry terminal or something like that. I'm sat up the other end of the dock at seaforth so i am assuming P&O moved here recently. Bored shit less and not sailing till 10 but i wanted to get here early in case i had issues with never sailing from here before.

Went to sleep! Got there at 5.20 so i was awake at 4.20. There shouldn't be 2 4 o'clock in a day! Slept shit too. Had a door on the cabin that got a fair rattle going at some stage.

After a few weeks you learn where to stick all the bits of folded up paper to stop the rattles
