I doubt you'll hear much of the engine... Wind will distort the sound too, even if you cover it!

easy enough if your camcorder has an input for AV. often they are overloaded or windy though, difficult to get right

What set up were you using then...

Car sounds cools and the pic in pic bit is a nice touch.

Standard DV camera with AV in and using a Bullet cam ( http://www.northern-loop.tv/gallery/...g2_itemId=3104 )

I used just a 20quid voice mic from maplins to camera the audio. Taped it all down and it worked a treat!

Cool, what software do you run to show the pic in pic bit?

Also, more questions - how did you get the pic under the car while also doing the in car thing? 2 camera running at the same time?

Want to something similar and as cheap as poss for my track videos!

Software was Adobe Premiere and I used 2 DV cameras and 1 bullet camera. See the pictures for the bullet camera under the car.
