how long does it take to recive your logbook back from DVLA for a newly registered car?

ive had the car just over 6 weeks and still no sign of it.. awaiting to transfer my private plate onto it...

 

Ive had them take 2 months before but that was on secondhand cars, the dvla are notoriously slow at getitng things sent out

 

Took us over 2 months to get the Fiesta ST log book. Then it arrived with the wrong colour listed on it

After 6 weeks I phoned DVLA and asked what the hold up was..........they had not yet received it from the dealer

they will tell you if it has beens ent or not!

well, according to dvla its been issued - to the fleet company, i rung them and the dealer had incorrectly registered it to the finance/fleet company , NOT me, but they have already sent it back to be ammended and i should have it within the next 2 weeks - fingers crossed....

 

probably with another owner on it....

 

I had mine within 2 weeks!

 

best not - or ill be kicking up a right stink
