Default Silly ebayer

Im after a set of esc cos rims for the S1, i see a set on ebay & the advert says 'escort cos rims NOT mondeo rims'!!!!

So i ask him for his number to go & view them etc, he gives me his number i call him & he says ..................................

"they're mondeo rims - not quite as wide as esc cos rims"

I say "strange as on your ad it says they're esc cos rims & NOT mondeo rims"

He say's "they look exactly the same but they came standard on mondeos"

I say "yeah ok mate" & hang up.

WTF!!

They look awesome mate, but are the wrong offset and everyone you speak to who's had them will say the car didn't handle well with them fitted. Have a search through the RST forum ,this gets asked every month whether they'll fit and if it's a good idea. Not trying to put you off as it's your car and if you want them fitting then it's your choice mate, but I'm trying to put you off fitting them

Oh dear

In all fairness though the Mondeo items would be better suited as they don't run the ET25 offset and 8J rim width.

shawn i see your trying your best to put me off

Thanks for all the info bud i do apreciate it But i used to have a set of esc cos rims on one of my previous 6 S1's & they look awesome
Im not planning on throwing the car around so im not too fussed about the handling

Oranoco the mondeo rims suit the S2 much better as the sit perfectly but they dont look wide enough on S1's imo
