S2 ERST Headlights.
Following on from my post of woe when i dropped my car off at a dodgy mechanics more problems have come to light -or not!
My headlights are now either side lights, or full beam. I have no dipped beam. when you turn to 1 click for side lights they work fine. turn to 2 clicks for dipped headlights and it all goes dark, but push the arm forwards and full beam comes on fine. Nightmare!
Can anyone suggest anything? It's a bit danerous driving with side lights (not to mention risking a pull) and cruising round with full beam all the time is just a wee bit anti-social. i will not drive the car at night now until they are fixed, but i want this to happen asap.
HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

ok a good start is the 2 little brown relays towards the back of the fuse box. Give them a wiggle and see what happens. if the light flickers then u know ur in the right area. Usually the plastic melts around them also the pins corode so u'll need to clean em off with summat like a disposable nail file cut to fit in the gap
If that dont work put ur lights to position 2 and run a piece of wire from the earth pin of the bulb directly to the battery as the lights also suffer with a bad earth.
Let me know how u get on.
