ERST stalls when first started
been meaning to ask this for months then AJ's post reminded me
ERST, pretty much standard.
starts on the button, but after about 2 mins of idling it will slowly drop in revs until it stalls.
you can keep it alive with lots of throttle then after about 2 mins of fighting it will idle bang on.
whats causing this? have tried cold start valve in and out, neither makes the slightest difference.

my ERST has done this for years now and still dont know what the cause is for it
ok about about 5/10min yeah?
piss annoy, gotta sit with ya foot on the pedal so it doesn't drop off

Cawood yeah exactly, i wondered because the cold start valve makes f-all difference, if actually it should be plugged in but its fooked?
its on KE yea, and if its the metering unit what exactly is wrong with it?

i tried metering units, still exactly the same
tried the cold start valve, no joy there
tried removing dump valve, made no difference
i just give up in the end n live with it
PS my ERST is on std management as well the shitty mechanical setup

does the cold start not just put fuel in when you crank it? and not when the cars actuall runnin,as youve no trouble it starting then it wont be the cold start
sounds like a minor leak somewhere that appears when the car starts heating up
