all you msd closed loop people, what sort of mileage are you getting on a long journey

i have done 2 long motorway trips this week, and used a full tank, and it did 293 miles??

is this good, id have thought it would do more than that, i wasnt booting it alot, mostly staying between 75-85

just curious as to what you other guys are seeing, maybe mine needs a litle more tweaking, which may involve a trip to blackpool at some point

 

A full tank would average me 300 to 350 miles mixed motorway and round town driving, and a good long motorway run (Huddersfield to Hull, ferry, then Rotterdam to the'Ring - 350 miles) and I had 1/4 tank left over, so that full tank would of seen a good 400 miles easily

that was stage 3, T34, dark greens, 27psi spike, 23 held, closed loop, coilpack etc etc

 

at them speeds mine would do that without closed loop on a long run.....but i never do them speeds.............

 

i got 90+miles to a £10 and mine is 400+bhp,t4 greys etc

 

...........u must drive like a right tart...........

 

so it must need some more fiddling then

new gearbox first though....sounds like a bag of spanners
