Default mikalor clamps

wheres the best place to buy them? Also is there anyway to help seal a pipe to a piece of pipe on my water pump? Had it off twice now and cleaned it up, still drips slighty.

I get mine locally from Transmission hoses in Widnes or Port Tankers in ellesmere port.
So try and find your local chemical hose dealer or a tanker specialist and ask them were they get them from and work out at least a pound or so cheaper than demon Tweeks.

have to agree mate, the crossover to inlet ones are to wide and you cant see the hose with them on,if you actually get them on and you cant get the metering head to turbo ones to stay on,they keep sliding back off the turbo and the metering head, also the compressor one for the turbo is to big and doesnt fit,i only use the intercooler to crossover and bottom intercooler pipe
25 quid or thereabouts for 3 fuckin hose clips

They are rubbish. I think they are poor quality. When my car was put together we used Mikalor clamps everywhere we could because of their good rep.

Pffffft

They are very hard to get to seal properly al the way around the car. I no longer have a Mikalor on the cross over pipe from the intercooler because we could never get it seal tight enough at over 2 bar. There is now a normal motor factors jubilee clip on there which has been fine for over 18 months. Everytime there is an air leak it usually down to the clip and a jubilee gets put on in its place.

I use them and find them very good. I use a ratchet and really torque them up. You can't see the pipe from crossover to inlet but so what?!! Never had a leak at all

em losts of different opinions here

I need one to stop a small leak nothing to do with a crossover pipe on a erst so width shouldn't be a problem. How wide are they tho. Less than 20mm?

No probs with Mikalor on the 3dr, far superior to jubilee/terry/genuine clips IMO
