My Concours 405bhp 3dr Cosworth (Pod pics & vid Page6)
As some of you know, I won the Gold Cup last year for the cleanest Modified Cosworth 2004 3 days after winning the cup in September, the car was stripped to a shell once again, and the entire floor pan, wheel arches and engine bay were bare metalled. Ant (3drbadboy) managed to borrow a body shop off of a friend for the weekend, so we managed to paint it all in there in one hit. This was November 2004. A huge pile of new parts were waiting to go on the car once painted, and also most of the alloy has been chromed as much to popular belief, I hate polishing! lol!
The car was actually totally finished at the end of Febuary this year, so 5 months from start to complete. A HUGE thanks to Ant for all his hard work helping me with the car
A few of the pics were taken on a 4 poster. This was when it as MOT'd last week. The MOT mans face was a picture as it went up in the air and he saw what I had done to the underneath! Still charged me £40 though!

True dedication ! definately one of the best cossies ever, i hate to think how many 10's of thousands that must owe you ! Think you have done a brilliant job though in creating the perfect cosworth, well done again you deserve to have won as attention to detail is 100%

The outside of the car was done by a local body shop about 2 years ago, but the engine bay arches and underside were painted by Ant (3drbadboy) off here.
And as for how much I have spent on this car (3 engines, 2 restos, every nut, bolt, washer, clip, grommet new, and whats on the spec sheet) I could of had 3 RS500's! one of each colour!!

absolutley friggin spot on , THE BEST cosworth by a country mile i have ever seen
sorry but i don't like the cambelt cover
wheels look spot on , i remember the post where they were 'shopped like that and i must say they came out perfect
if you twisted my arm i would consider a swap on the fez

fair play to you mate, just read your thread about the caning you gave it this morning, im sure alot of people would be shit scared to drive it anywhere if they owned something as perfect as that.

i want to own a concours white 3dr myself one day and with this car you are raising the bar which others must follow. old fords will never die if people keep putting this amount of time and money into them!
