Martin does the AP's & Brembo kits, Mike offers a couple of other options too, but wheel offset, size & make tends to dictate what you can fit to a Cossie.....
I went for 6-pot AP's with 356mm disks - excellent service as usual from Martin (you'll get the same quality of service from Mike, but Mike doesn't do fitting) I use Ferodo DS2500 pads - perform very well on the road.

The kits Mike & Martin supply come with all brackets (to ensure correct caliper clearance), bolts, braided hoses (they're different for AP's), calipers, bells (to mount the disk to the hub) etc.
4-pots have four pistons acting on the pads, 6-pots have six...

Luke,
The price I quoted was for the genuine AP kit as featured in the pictures above, which comes with:
Discs: 330mm (diameter) x 28mm (width)
Bells: These are the a two-piece arrangement which mounts the steel disc onto an alloy plate that goes on the hub (see picture above).
Brackets: The original Cossie discs are only 280mm, so the caliper needs to be moved out to accomodate the larger diameter disc, and is done so with alloy brackets.
Brake pads: Ferodo DS2500 compound
Braided brake lines - Goodridge ones to give better peddle feel as the rubber hoses "balloon" under pressure.
Brake fluid: AP Dot 5.1 - not the best but more than up to the job of fast road use.
Jim,
The four pot kit for the BMW E36 is the same cost as for the Sapphire.

I had 330mm 4-pots on my 500bhp 2wd Sapphire .

As Mike has already said 330mm AP's are fine for both road and track. I run 4x4 rears on mine aswell and i have never had a problem.
As for the FRS calipers, they would be good enough for road use but i would go for the AP's if i was going to track the car. I know a lot of the FRS lads are upgrading to AP's.

The rears are vented thats why people change them and its worth while doing as doesn't cost much. Calipers can be used from some of the Granada's so can be had from scrappies for pennies.
I will need to upgrade the fronts though. The best mod i have done to all my cars is upgrade the brakes.

cheers mike, is that with no bias fitted?
just want to make sure before i sort the rear brakes out.
probably go 300mm with 4x4 rear if no biasing is needed, or maybe even just standard 4x4 setup.

I have only experienced it once which was trying an emergency stop at 185 on the runway.
I did have the original bias valve removed tho.
I now have a AP brake bias valve which can cure this.
