Ill never watch it then. American cars do nothing for me and neither do americans for that matter.... I hate programmes like Monster garage etc.

Why are people calling it a shit idea? Its not like they are stoping UK one and only doing US version.
Good on them, earn BBC some money and themselves! They already branch a bit for the US when talking about cars, as if anyone has watched it in the US Jermery etc says how much the cars are in $ etc
I would think its a great idea and would love to see the US version on say BBC 3 aswell as the norm one on BBC 2

Also sounds like the programme may be struggling for some reason ? Lets be honest it's hardly a car programme now, more like a chat show with the odd car lobbed in for good measure. They need to cut down on all the stupid antics and get back to what they started doing - testing and reviewing cars. Sensibly.

reveiwing cars seriously ?!?!? so seriously theres no point in reveiwing 100k + sports cars then cos no fucker that watches it is going to get one and how many people buy a car based on what a tv programme says anyway? its a lads mag show and a good laugh imo

and as i have said before on a previous thread they make Top Gear to sell all over the world its not just the UK they have to think about (and yes i know we pay the licence fee)
And lol at the people who say its getting boring not what it used to be etc,
I thought that about eastenders 3 years so i stopped watching it problem solved
