Mine was like this when I got it, I had to take the sender out of the tank clean it up and work it until it moved easily. Worked fine since.
Bit annoying to remove but I can't think of another reliable way to repair, perhaps a full tank and a spirited drive?

Had a feeling it would be a case of exercising it guises I'll take it out lol I'd had the tank off about 10 times I think I'll wait till I can take it to my workshop laying in the road is a pain lol

The worst thing about EFI is having to drop the tank every time you want to work on the pump
My plan is to cut an access hole under the rear seat with a strong cover and plenty of bolts to make sure it doesnt lose strength of the chassis. That's what they did on the mk5's I believe
