As chris says - you might need the mk5 allen key adjustable pedal 'ratchet' - its not really a ratchet but has teeth on the quadrant just like a mk4
as rik says - it is kinda defeating the object. I know of several RST owners that have tried a few configurations - Uprated pressure and paddle clutch, fierce and i have been told eats flywheels, uprated pressure plate and standard friction plate - the friction plate will slip at high torque and eventually burn out, standard pressure plate and uprated 4 paddle ceramatallic gives a good pedal, bit of a judder once its done some milage, can take the heat, but there isnt really enouch clamping pressure. When you slip this combination it eats flywheels apparently......
I bought a solid 4 paddle ceramatallic for my car n decided to go with the uprated pressure plate, but a genuine standard friction plate - good pedal, can still slip it to get off the line, and wont eat flywheels. Will heat up, but will hold on a bit longer than standard under full load before slipping.
Pro's and con's to each combination
hope that helps

there ya go then - few good answers!
Flywheels are not the hardest thing to fit on ERST's.....but sometimes you would rather do the job once and once only lol!

I have a standard S2 pressure assembly and a 5-paddle solid plate. Doesn't hold much more torque than the standard S2 clutch, but when it starts to slip, it makes a terrible judder. No I have ordered an AP-racing clutch. I don't want to destroy flywheels either as EFI-flywheels are hard to come by over here.
