Default RS5O0 and dash question

Right looked through last months fast ford or performance cant remember and again i seen a rs500 and the dash was missing the speaker pod in the centre and probably ws a saff dash but not sure , now i just picked up a mint saff dash in light grey , cheers pete rs specialists , and going to fit it tomorrow , now do you think this is frowned upon by the purists but my attitude is id rather have a mint dash like this rather than look at a cracked 3 door one

And plus dont use the stupid speaker bit anyway

Easy to fit hope so

I am the same as you Rab, I have a mint full saphire dash ready to go in. I would rather have a mint dash than a faded cracked one. The rest of thecar isn't standard so why worry about the dash.

As said above, make sure you get the saphire pillars as well.

If the car is totaly std then i would rather have a std dash with a few minor cracks
If the car is modded then a saff dash would be fine with me

I would 100% never put a saff dash in a 500 tho, sorry

I have a later hatchback dash in my 3 door, as it still fits with the std pillar trims, only cost me Ł20, but I have kept my old dash with its cracks, and in the future will get it repaired and refit it, but I would rather have the one I have in now rather than my old cracked one, I don't know what is different about a saphire one that needs the pillars different as like I said I had one out of a later xr4i hatchback and this is the same as my old one
