i was just saying,, as everyone thinks it easy to get a traders policy, then drive all these cars,,, but the problem comes when you come to make a claim and they terminate your policy
if you want to insure cosworths on it,,, get ready for a big bill

I got a quote from Tradex and at Ł1900 inc all the workshop cover i thought that seamed pretty good.
Got another name to try here Unicom thats who one of my mates uses and he pays around Ł400 to cover him on his fleet of cars.

im with caterall...
now called AND INSURE,
gay name but it was quite cheap
fully comp on anything up to 50k but will only pay out upt to 10k in the event of an accident, allowed imports, and performance/sports cossies, scoobies skyline etc
demonstartor on there, and the usual breakdown assistance etc..

you wont get cover other than basic road risks for a Cosworth on a trade policy, this has always been the case, so if it gets nicked you get nothing I've had motor trade cover since 1991 and I've never known Cosworths to be fully covered.
Also any modifications will mean you are not covered.
I would seriously doubt whether any trade policy would pay out on a Cosworth if you made a claim.
My broker is Cliftonside Insurance in Bristol try them.
They offer MMA, Tradewise plus another. Tradex are crap I used to use them and now would not even bother asking them for a quote if you want decent cover.
