Default I cant afford a Mk2 Escort or Fiat 131 Abarth...

...or any old-skool rallycar.

But im not doing bad at making my own special version

Currently in "Forest" spec, but 2inch lowering blocks etc should be on tomorrow so down to "Tarmac" spec

Diff was welded today, so a coat of satin black all over, strip it out and fit the buckets, remove the homo towbar, happy days.

Already 2litre injection so not too shy for a RWD car that weighs under 1000kg once stripped, but there an easy 250bhp available for another 500quid or so if i can be arsed.

S13 is WAY beyond tramp these days, its mental.

This is too cool for that too (well, once its finished anyhow ), drift yea, tramp, nah.

My LAST drift 360 i gave to a mate 2weeks ago was a proper tramper tho.

im my dreams as the cars are always broke

seriously tho, roads 99% of time in the last 360, just used to go out every night at 11pm or later and diff it up.

but you can drift anywhere, there practice events pretty much every week around the UK and 3 different championships in 2007.

infact there was a drift practice day in somerset today.

thats it now, i gotta get ready to go out, sat night...

cheap for a Mk2 shell, but not cheap for what you get if you forget it being a "classic"

i dont do all this "history" and "classic" stuff, ive got no interest in impressing car people.

i just go for bang for your buck. (well, fun for your cash)

as you can see by the stupid volvo

ive never killed or thrown any car away, so doubtful.

and tidy 340s with diff, wheels, low, stripped, seats, harnesses, have been selling for 600-700 notes lately, which is less than ive spent on this which will be loads madder, so...

and even if i did bin it, its better VFM than spending 15k modding cossies to get about 2k more back than when it was std, and im used to that shit too

Thats 340s, the smaller engine ones, have an alloy prop.

Not as bad as people think, rarely happens.

And either just fit an unbreakable 360 one, spend 150quid on an uprated one, or just own a 360.

I'll keep that in mind for when you get it finished. I'm seriously interested though as I was tempted to buy that very car when it was for sale.

was nowhere near as nice as made out in the for sale ad, loads of surface rust in various places (all minor tho if you changing the colour), big hole in one wing, underneath is mostly solid it needs welding on one chassis rail, and the gearbox is pissing oil from somewhere, something i believe was happening before it was sold and cleaned up for sale.

where? where ever, just got to be lucky. they getting more expensive now though as people are realising they got massive potential.
was 200quid cars, now even standard ones sometimes go for 500quid+, and can see the prices getting silly soon.

hardly ever see 300 series volvos that are 4dr saloons, most are 3 or 5 door.
hardly ever see 3dr 360s either, most 3drs are 340s, almost all 360s are gay 5drs like my last one.

even rarer to find a fuel injection one like i got.

welding the diff means both wheels always turn at same speed, makes it a lot more controllable when drifting, and more grippy in general.

no vids of me, im not good enough to want to be filmed, frankly
