Default Cossie , fuel filter question???? help

About to fit my 044 pump on my 3dr cosworth guys BUT on getting under the car to do so , noticed my fuel fulter is a cheapo little fuel filter , the clear ones you would get in a nova or something

Can i change back easily to the proper one >? though it should be the "can" type and not with jubilee clips at each end ? any help appreciated , on why i would have this , surely its not normal ????

best to get this changed before its checked on the rollers as wee things like this can effect fuel pressure.

At a bit of a crossroads euan have these light blues here , but cars running at moment with the greens , going to get this pump in and get her to ava to set up , but think its a waste if im putting these blues in it but need a chip etc , would ava hook me up with what i need for the blues ?? want it better and rolling roaded for crail , but maybe doing the blues is goiung to set me back time and effort and money for the sake of a month or so , hope this makes sense

what turbo do you have Rab?

Do you want to really push the engine to the point where you will max the greens? (300 ish ATW)

AVA can sort you out with what ever you need Rab

dont bother with the blues at the moment then Rab as 280 is no probs for the greens.

Just get to rollers and get it set up the blues just complicate things and they arent really needed at this spec level.

25 psi will feel ALOT quicker than 13

no reason why it cant make 270-300 ATW on your spec if the engine and turbo are healthy
