is my alternater shafted? A new battery was fitted, all seemed fine after putting a new engine in, then when i took her out at night i noticed that my alternater light was glowing dimly... seems to be getting worse...

did a little bit of welding, removed the ecu's but i think i forgot to disconnet the battery...

have i cooked it?

 

i've got new battery and reconed alternator...my light still glows slightly... ...think i might get some new wires

 

its either a Alternator fault. ( get it checked at ur local centre)

ut its prob a dodgy earth so dont worry to much .lol

 

Wiring on this circuit is notorious on the cossies. I have just taken the time to completely replace mine - not that hard - there are only two wires basically.
