only just came online to check my pm's and seen this mate as not normally online except in work. so wasn't ignoring you.
I can't help I'm afraid mate. hotmail is actually very secure in the grand scheme of things the normal way peoples accounts get hacked is they use the same password for signing up to other things.
if a hacker got control of the pf server for example they could extract the info they needed to work out everyones passwords for here and their email addresses are in their profile so if anyone used the same password for here and hotmail that would be a way to hack their hotmail.
people using passwords that can be easily guessed is another way.
I'm not aware of any recent report of hotmail actually being hacked itself to the extent of giving away your password or allowing others full control. even the cookie stealing stuff to copy your session with javascript that unseen menace mentioned won't allow someone to change your password as it allows people to log in as you but they still don't know your password which is needed for confirmation when changing yours. well as far as I'm aware but I've no inside knowledge about that so stand to be corrected if he says otherwise.
