Who do Ebay think they are? Found out this morning that they have decided to suspend my account as they claim I'm a previously suspended user. So the 9 auctions I had running, all gone. Now think Ebay thinks its better than it really is.

What other Auction sites do people use?

I'm sick of ebay at the moment, had some idiot cost me Ł30 the other day on pressing buy it now on my item then never responding.

It's amazing when you try and sort it though, it's a pain to find how on ebay.

 

Ebay sucks. I have a load of mobile phones I need to keep trying to sell but just at the last minute some fucking looser with no feedback bids on them and then doesnt pay up.
I know you can get your money back but its not the point.

change your buyer preferences to block people who havent paid in your auctions and who have a feedback score of less than whatever you want it to be (think its gotta be a minus feedback score though)

 

Well, I found a 'live chat' option under the account security pages and they sorted my account out straight away
Why couldn't they do that when I emailed them

Loads of messages from where the hacker had been messaging people offering to 'pay' by Western Union

Just sent about 40 messages to people he'd contacted to make sure they knew they were from a scammer

 

No I didnt have the other account, and as for contacting them, I've sent them email, know all I'll get back is an automated response. I spoke to live help, who were about as much use as a cup of cold piss. Why does an international company have to hide behind an email address? Is there some reason for not disclosing their phone number or address? Or is it cos their dodgy twats, who seem to think they can do as they like, regardless of the effects it has.

 

One word. Cost.

Running a call centre costs an absolute fortune!
