it's hard to say, remove the plugs and see if there's any sign of water getting on them (one may be a little rusty) for water to get into the exhaust housing,it must be in the combustion chamber too....so i'd guess the car would run slightly poorly at least....unless it's just condensation?

where does the mist come from exactly?

plug number 3 is a bit rusty on inspection, see pic

the rest are just black as fook, theres definitely more water than just condensation though, the mist comes up through the vent after youve given it some, but only when you turn it off not as its driving

check turbo water pipes for hairline cracks where they join the banjoes. i've had 2 with that problem, and it causes the water to leak onto the exhaust manifold

don't know yet but my rad is leaking again, had a look this morning and found i left the rubber mountings off when i changed the rad So the flex might have caused the end cap to start leaking (i hope), and my rad fans don't work

That was the first sign of wennys engine going bang big style in the monte dicko we were out in it the wed night and there was a bit of mist coming on the screen through the passenger side vent, sunday night we were out in it it melted 2 pistons and cracked the block but you would know that as you wernt far behind us , ide take the head off as a precaution if i was you mate if you do put the t4 on and there is a problem it could make things alot worse..

Sounds like the gasket to me, I wouldn't put a Cometic multi-layer one on a LAWN MOWER . They're SHIT and even if the head and block are meticulously prepped, I have still heard of them failing with fairly modest power at only a few thousand miles .
