Default Cossie engine HELP

Just stripped my escos engine to find that the last person to do the head gasket didnt blow out the bolt holes and it has 2 cracks from the threaded hole to the water holes is this now a no go on the block or is there away around this

if you know a old style enigne enginerr
he could stitch the block
old trick not many do now but can be done it they have the tools !!

Blow out bolt holes ? what actually happened as a result ? just mines will be going back together soon

If you dont blow any oil out of the holes it builds up presure the more you do up your head bolts the more presure then it cracks the block

Is that for sure as i have a 200 block with one thread thats cracked to the water jacket.

you can get it welded up and then go long studs as they don't use the original threaded hole therefore the weld will not be stressed.

or get another block.
