need to get a mk3 festi diesel pretty asap

what things do i need to look out for bodywork / electrical / engine wise please ?

only need a cheap runabout £500 or a little less o im not expecting a minter lol

All depends if ur looking at mk3 or mk3.5

IMO 3.5 would be the better option

Rust isnt as much of a problem on the 3.5 check the sills and normal bits and pieces

how do you tell a 3.5 ?

ones im thinkin of goin lookin at are a 94 and a 95 model

Yea they are the 3.5 mate!

Mirrors are different mk3's have big flappy mirrors and 3.5's have more teardrop style mirrors,

The boot doesn't have lines on the boot lid just by the number plate

Just the normal things mate, not really heard of a problem with the 1.8 diesel, bodywork it is going to be the arches, bootlid, and the sills
