18bhp from an na car is a decent gain, remember you cant just increase the boost pressure like a cossie

It's an NA car though, it's going to be hard to get much out of it?

Look how much extra power BMW quoted for the CSL - around 17bhp?

Seems easier to get extra speed via handling and weight reduction/sticky tyres

I remember Stu posting on here that they benefit quite well from a pair of Shrick cams couple of other bits and a live map.

If you look at the 330d on MSD's site, you get an extra 30bhp and an extra 40 torque, probably down to the fact that it's got a turbo they can play with

Then on the other hand, my mrs's puma 1.7i only gets an increase of 10bhp. so i'd say 18bhp out of an N/A is bloody good going!!

Can't see what i can do with mine as the Focus 2.0TDCi isnt on the site They gets 30bhp out of the 1.8TDCi 8v though

The new M3 is meant to be a 415bhp V8..... maybe he's got his wires crossed/billy bullshits somewhere along the line

Unless he's got Nos or sumthin

415hp would be hard to get from n/a S54 you'd need

3.4 with high covmp pistons
Big set of cams
Carbon airbox with alpha n
Bit of head work
and a good full exhaust system
