Master Auto Glass - one of the suppliers we get screens from (only one I know that sells to public)
http://www.masterautoglass.com/index.htm
Head Office is in London, E17 - 020 8531 9219
Ring up, ask for Ben or Mick, tell em Matt from Autoglass sent you, and they'll sort you out
*NB - Master Auto Glass are a seperate company and not affiliated with Autoglass, my company, in anyway

They fitted a green? Idiots
Two choices - remove it and have a bronze or bronze.blue fitted, or change all the other glass to green - tho you will be hard pushed to find green tint rear quarter glass - rocking horse shit!!!!
So best off to go for a bronze/blue I reckon....
If you was closer, I'd do the job for you

Plus, to be honest, since Ford supplied (and fitted?) the wrong screen, you should be able to get the change over done for free, which beats paying me to do the job for you anyway.... Standard rate remove and refit on something like this would be £50 easily (plus cost of screen) so it'd probably work out cheaper to hound Ford (or whoever fitted it wrongly) to get it done for you

i've sorted a new front screen, £75. from the windscreen man on the RSOC.
Going to see if i can get a new seal FOC from fords seeing as they supplied me with the wrong screen and never even mentioned that the bronze tint wasnt available.

no thats supply only, not fussed about getting it fitted right away, just hacked off with the car at the moment.
the front screen trim i will get from fords new like the one i just got was.
The rear 1/4 trim are no where in this country new from fords, done all the searches, now searching overseas

Nah, you won't find rear quarter glass trims ANYWHERE now except second hand/private seller. It's a night mare for us (Autoglass) if we get a Sierra come in that has the rear quarter smashed as they are a mission to save and re-use, and we can't get replacements either!
Someone could potentially make a good few quid if they bought the patent and put them into production I reckon

cheers thrush, you likely to ever be down this way in the next few months?
not bothered when the new screen is fitted to be honest.
Just want it done before its back on the road.
But to be honest the mood im in at the moment, im thinking about just giving up and going and buying another car.

I don't really get out Kent way to be honest fella - I'm a fair way from there!
If I do tho, I'll let you know..... As I said before, std price for a quality job where I'd save the screen thats in there (ie, not break it, so you can return/sell it), probably save the trim too, and take obvious extra care with new/fresh paintwork, would be about £50...
I recently did Dan's (Renton) Skyline, for the same thing - he needed the screen removing in one piece, wanting new trims fitted. The problem was a replacement screen for an R32 Skyline is aout £600, and about a 3-5 week wait to have it shipped from Japan! There's not a SINGLE one on the country! So naturally, I was a tad worried - even a slight imperfection in the screen could cause it to crack whilst removing it!
But I did it, got it out in one piece, fitted new trims and refitted screen to it - took about 5hrs, but only charged him £60
So up to you - depends on if I can get down that way - it's out of my area and we're not supposed to take the vans outside of a 20mile radius of home/work (which for me is Essex/Nth London)
