Default Burtonpower big valves

Just got big valves for my RST EFI head from burton to go onto my 2.0 ZVH .... question is do you modify them in any way before fitting or are they OK just like they came from burton?

You cant just fit big valves.....

You will need to have the valve seats changed to suit and of course
the have the head poerted to take advantage of them.


Changing the valve seats is NOT something you can do at home

Did I ask anything about seats?
They don't need to be changed, standard seats have enought metal to modify them to suite those valves I was only asking about the valve itself. Any extra skimming or anything like that was the question Or are they perfect as they came?

your going to have to cut the seat then you still cant do it at home

That’s why I got only valves from them as I found no other cvh big valve supplier (don't mention puma - arogant fella). Now the only question left is are there any mistakes in the design of their valves that I should correct?

Norris Motorsport should be able to supply big valves, although it may only be as part of a complete head package.

there CVH heads are awesome

I agree, but what's done is done no turning back I aint buying another set
Has anyone got picture of Norris Motorsport valves? we could compere the design
